Transforming Stuff → Thing
A 2-week long sculptural experiment transforming ‘dead’ stuff, with little essence or need, into something alive.
Premise
What is the line between stuff and thing? At what point do objects and materials become vibrant— captivating a presence to the people who interact, use, and own it? Johanna Mcallister and I explored this question by composing a singular form for a cluster of found materials. We have endearingly named our creation Jojjee.
